If you love cocktails don't miss Trader Vics home of the famous Mai Tai
Trader Vics openened at Abu Dhabi Beach Rotana Hotel in 1994 and is one of the City's most popular cocktail Bars. The cocktail menu is extensive, to the point of over-whelming, but is helpfully divided into category of strength. I can scan the menu for as long as I like, but I always seem to revert to my favourite, the Potted Parrot. The bar is as popular for diners stopping in for a pre-dinner drink, as those who are here to dine. If you want to eat here, book ahead as this restaurant is known for its excellent menu. Vic Bergeron, pioneer of Trader Vics was one of the first to introduce fusion cuisine. If you are dining with your family children are normally requested to have left by 8.30pm so it is advisable to check when you book your table. The atmosphere in Trader Vics, Abu Dhabi is always buzzing. This is a great place to come as a couple, a family or a group.
