Pamper yourself. Luxury Spa Packages are available at Le Meridien's prestigious Eden Spa and include oriental, seaweed and lymphatic therapies. The hotel offers the widest range of spa facilities in the City and favourites include the aqua medic pool and Turkish hammam.

You may forget you are only minutes from the Arabian Desert as you stroll through the village ambience to select from one of the Hotel's superb restaurants and bars.

The relaxed al-fresco dining option in the village is attractive to families and children love to watch the fish in the small river running through the grounds.

Papagallo restaurant is a great family-style Italian Restaurant.

The Captain's Arms pub is a popular meeting place in Abu Dhabi. There is normally a crowd enjoying the outdoor seating. This Pub is popular all year round and serves great pub-snacks.

For a more romantic dining setting one of my favourite places at Le Meridien is the Talay. If it's cool enough sit outside, it adds a wonderful ambience to the whole evening. If you are a Tom Yum soup fan (like my husband) then this is the restaurant for you. Typically Thai, you are invited to choose your fish and then a serving style. An a la carte menu is available if you prefer.

Maharaja Restaurant. The Maharaja is currently being renovated - it is due to re-open later this year. This is great news as the Maharaja serves excellent Indian dishes and is one of the few licensed Indian Restaurants in the city. As with all restaurants in the Village at Le Meridien - you can opt to eat Al Fresco, a great place to eat a curry on a warm evening.
