The Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi? is home of one of the City's most popular Beach Club's. making sandcasatles With its own private stretch of beach and protected by a break water, the Hiltonia Beach Club offers a range of water-sports. One of the most popular being the Banana Boat Rides.

After the beach you will be ready to relax by one of the Hiltonia's beautiful outdoor pools. There are three in all.

Favourite with the young and young at heart is the water slide pool. These small slides provides hours of fun in the sun. Toddlers are also catered for with a great shaded splash pool.

.... And for those over 21, why not enjoy a sundowner, or refreshing cocktail at the swim up Bar.

The Coconut Bay pool-side cafe offers much more than ice cream. The cafe has an extensive and excellent menu. Another great gem of the Beach Club is the recently opened Fitness and Spa complex. The spa offers you the opportunity to be well and truly pampered. The State of the Art Fitness Suite will let you keep your body toned for the Beach. Check the weekly itineraries for Instructor lead Fitness Classes. These can be quite popular (as there are a lot of expatriates in Abu Dhabi who regularly attend these sessions) so you may wish to book ahead.

At the weekends Hemmingways Pub is certainly a favourite. Situated in the main part of the Hilton Hotel it is worth checking in mid-week, too, as they often have some great promotions. If you look to the side of the Bar in Hemingways you will see swing doors that lead through to my own personal favourite night spot, The Jazz Bar. I have taken so many people here and everyone has absolutely loved it. One of the Hilton Hotel's newest additions is BiCE (pronounced BEE-CHAY). This is fine Italian Cuisine and if you are here to celebrate any special occasion - this is definitely an option to consider. The Mawal Lebanese Restaurant has a singer and belly dancer each evening and certainly adds a memory to your stay in this fabulous city.

Please note that The Hiltonia Beach Club is situated across the road from the Hilton Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Linkage is via a clean, bright underpass.

The Hiltonia Beach Club can also be used via membership, the majority of whom are western expatriates. So do expect the Beach Club to be slightly more busy during weekends and when the local expatriate schools are on holiday. One bonus of staying at the Hotel during the school holiday is that there is regularly a Kids Club on during the day, which your child might like to join. Leaving you time to catch up on a little pampering at the Spa or even to try out the swim up Bar.
