The 18 hole Al Ghazal Golf Club. hosted the inaugural Abu Dhabi World Sand Championshipin 2004 attracting world top golf celebrities Nick Faldo, Ian Woosnam and Paul McGinley.

The Club prides itself on being friendly to both members and guests alike and provides First Class facilities.

The Club also boasts a full gym complete with steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. In addition to Golf the club also provides courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and five a side football.

The Al Ghazal Golf Club is working alongside other Sand Courses to standardise Rules worldwide. Where possible the Rules for Sand are kept as close as possible to playing on a grass Course.
