Carnival of UAE Heritage

In November 2007 Abu Dhabi celebrated National Day with its first UAE Heritage Carnival. The day was a huge success and the streets which are normal lined with Hummers, Land Cruisers and Mercedes gave way to the traditional Emirati transport - a camel caravan. Heritage Centre - Abu Dhabi

The heritage centre located by Marina Mall offers visitors to the opportunity to find historical information on Abu Dhabi and a unique insight into life before oil. Another great way to soak up atmosphere of the Emirati culture is to take a desert safari.

The Future in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is planning to build on its culture and to develop the Emirate into one of the main cultural and sporting destinations of the Middle East.
