The Pearl DiverStory told by Julia Johnson Watercolour Illustrations: Patricia Al Fakhri This book was given to me as a present, from a very dear friend.Not just for sentimental adults - it is a lovely story to read to children. Or for older children ( 8 - 12 yrs) to read to themselves. The illustrations are fantastic and the narration takes you back to a time when Abu Dhabi was known for Pearl diving rather than oil.
