Enjoy Arabic Heritage and Hospitality at Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital
One of the great new tourist attractions in Abu Dhabi is the Falcon Hospital.
The hospital opened in 1999 but has only recently opened its doors to visitors, allowing an insight into the fascinating world of falconry, which is, of course, part of the Emirate's heritage.
Tours to Abu Dhabi Falcon hospital normally last around two hours and include a vist to both the Falconry Museum and the Hospital, where you may see live medical work in progress.
In addition to seeing these birds in the free-flight aviary, visitors also have the opportunity to have one of these majestic falcons sit on their arm - ideal for that perfect photo!
An optional extra on your tour will be to experience the Falcon Flight Show. Visitors will see traditional falcon training in this unique flight - a glimpse to the past of Bedouins and their beloved falcons.
