Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers - PregosThe Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers is always a pleasure to visit. There is a tranquil atmosphere here (apart from when the Brownies are singing Christmas Carols of course - but that is another story), a perfect combination of Arabic Hospitality and Cosmopolitan Hotel.
It took me a long time to find out just what Prego's had to offer. It had been recommended to me often enough, but somehow I never seemed to make time to check out this Italian in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant is sleek and contemporary (not a red checked table cloth in sight).For me, however it is the al-fresco dining at Prego's which makes the visit extra special. The Al Fresco terrace overlooks a pretty stream and across the Beach Rotana's private beach towards the Persian Gulf. I couldn't believe that I had neglected such a romantic spot in Abu Dhabi, for so long. The menu is good Italian but the Al Fresco ambience puts this restaurant above ordinary. My fondest memory, of Prego's, is sitting on the Al Fresco terrace with some great friends, who were at the end of their holiday in Abu Dhabi. Saying good-bye is never easy, but the ambience of Prego's was the perfect setting to reflect a wonderful holiday in Abu Dhabi.
