Abu Dhabi Emirates Palace Hotel
The Abu Dhabi
Emirates Palace Hotel
conjures up fabulous images of Exotic Arabia.
In contrast to all the High Rise buildings which have sprung up in the City, this magnificent hotel, gracefully lines 1.3km of private beach. It is easy to see why it is often reported as the Sheikhs personal palace.
Romantic Luxury beach Holidays at the 'Palace Hotel' Abu Dhabi
The 'Palace Hotel' really is the place to indulge and relax.
The Emirates Palace has its own private beach and each wing of the Palace Hotel has its own pool and luxury spa.
One of the outdoor poolw has a lazy river and slides, just perfect for your luxury beach holidays with children.
The Emirates Hotel - Perfect for luxury short breaks
If you are planning your honeymoon or luxury short break in Abu Dhabi then why not arrive by helicopter from Abu Dhabi international airport. Contact the concierge desk at the Emirates Palace before your departure to discuss details.
The Hotel looks magnificent at night. There are 114 domes and the largest, Grand Atrium dome, measures an impressive 42m wide. During the evening the dome is illuminated and adds a Romantic Backdrop to this exotic Hotel.Night time is a great opportunity to take advantage of being so close to the city. If you decide not to eat at one of the hotel's Five star restaurants, it is easy to take a
limousine taxi into the city and enjoy one of the excellent restaurants, champagne bars and night spots in Abu Dhabi.
However a word of advice. The hotel is vast. I mean vast. The Hotel is 1km from the tip of the East wing to the tip of the West wing. That is a lot of walking if you are travelling with small children or have a mobility problem. So for small children I would certainly advise you to pack your buggy/stroller. With 140 elevators in the Emirates Hotel you should never need to use the stairs.

Morning Coffee at the Emirates Palace
If you choose not to stay at the Hotel then you can still take in all of its splendour. Tours of the Hotel are available, by one of the Hotel's 2000 staff members. Simply book through their concierge desk.
You don't get to see all of the 1002 Swarovski' crystal chandeliers, during the spectacular tour. However you do learn that the solid gold finial you saw as you entered the hotel, weighs in at 20kg. The dome over the atrium is absolutely stunning and claimed to be the largest in the world. The marble has been specifically chosen to reflect the colours of the sun in the desert. The Emirates Palace is reported to be the most expensive Hotel ever built. With around 6,000m˛ of gold leaf used in décor it really does give guests the impression of being a Palace rather than a Hotel.
You can also pop in for morning coffee or afternoon tea. The price tag isn't cheap and you may do a double take at the menu when you see the prices, I know that I did. However I succumbed and savoured every sip of my morning coffee, taking in the splendour of this magnificent and opulent Hotel.
